VALARIE DEAN
Valarie founded TechnoTaries with three core components:
1) solve a problem; 2) have a product of value; and 3) be the best and most successful at performing services. Valarie’s management style and work ethic are attributes that have led to her successes. She is committed to maintaining exceptional client relations and effectively assisting with all virtual paralegal needs of TechnoTaries’ clients. “What started off as a dream and an idea has turned into an amazing business with useful services, and I could not be more thankful”, says Valarie.
Valarie’s legal career expands more than 30 years, working as an office manager, legal secretary and paralegal (sometimes all at once) with esteemed Los Angeles law firms. She has extensive experience and a vast knowledge of various areas of law, California courts and legal procedures. Her upbeat and positive personality, approachable persona, professionalism and stellar skills have all contributed to Valarie’s reputation in the legal community as being one of the BEST there is to work with.
Valarie’s philanthropy efforts continue to be recognized throughout the SoCal legal community. She is a active member of several Bar Associations, including: 2017-2022 Chair for the Multicultural Bar Alliance of Southern California; 2017-2022 Gala Chair and Board Member for the John M. Langston Bar Association, and she is the first non-attorney in Langston's 100 year history to serve as an Officer in 2022; Member of the LGBT Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association; Member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA), where she served as Co-Chair of the Inclusion & Diversity Committee from 2015-2019, she is also on the Membership & Marketing Committee, and is a 2022-2023 Trustee. The SFVBA presented Valarie with an Appreciation Award in 2016 for her outstanding contribution and commitment to the SFVBA. In 2017, Valarie received the Spirit Award from the Westside Bar Association for her consistent work, willingness to give-back and unquestionable help others. Valarie currently serves on the Law Advisory Committee for Mission College, a Committee formed to assist in the implementation of the College's law programs which include the Paralegal Studies and Pathway to Law School Programs. Valarie previously served as an Ambassador for the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce, Area Rep for the Encino Neighborhood Counsel, was selected as a member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Valley Public Safety Advisory Committee (now dissolved), served on the Advisory Board for the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, and her charity efforts with The People Concern (fka Ocean Park Community Center) are unparalleled.
